The Plantation Junior Woman’s Club is proud to recognize students committed to community service and leadership. The Club is pleased to offer scholarships to high school graduating seniors who reside in the City of Plantation, plan to attend college or vocational school, are a U.S. citizen, and have a minimum 2.5 GPA.
The Community Service Scholarship is based on a commitment to the community through volunteerism.
The Leadership Scholarship is centered on a leadership role involving time spent in an activity, club, sport team, student body or project.
Recipients will be chosen by the Plantation Junior Woman’s Club Scholarship Committee. Scholarship award will be sent directly to the student’s school. Recipients of this scholarship agree to provide the Plantation Junior Woman’s Club (PJWC) with their college or post-secondary/vocational school information, including name of school, address to the school’s financial aid office, student number, and first semester of attendance. This information must be provided within four (4) months of notification of being awarded the scholarship or the scholarship will be forfeited.
Scholarships are funded by proceeds from the Scholarship Raffle held at our annual Art in the Park festival.
